Mint & Pimms 2

Have you been gripped by tennis fever yet? Since the tournament started last week, here at Herbilicious HQ, we’ve been celebrating everything that is great about Wimbledon and the British summertime (despite the clouds today!)

More importantly, we are very excited that mint has once again become the most popular herb of the season, with many of us using it in our strawberries and cream, adding it to our ice creams to cool off and, of course, adding it to our cocktails.

As well as cheering on Andy, we’re also delighted to see so many people enjoying the tennis with a glass of Pimms, complete of course with fresh mint. We’ve even found this great article by The Guardian on how to create the perfect cup of Pimms, while the likes of celebrities and royals have been seen recently enjoying this fruity tipple).

Mint also makes an ace (ahem) addition to strawberries and cream, as does basil. We’re not sure if they’re serving (see what we did there) it that way at Wimbledon but if not, they’re definitely missing a trick.
